Our December featured Adobe's Terry White showing the new Adobe Photoshop Elements 3. We also held our Year End Holiday Party and a special Awards Program recognizing special individuals who have contributed to the group in the Past year.Terry White also received an Honory Membership in The Michigan Apple as small gesture of appreciation for all the work he does with the Local Macintosh Community. |

The Michigan Apple User Group was proud to have noted author Ted Landau as our featured speaker at our June 2004 meeting. Ted gave us a look at Microsoft Office, the industry standard for personal and business use and compared it to Apple's staple productivity suite Appleworks 6. We also took a first look Microsoft Office 2004.Ted also just released his new book called Mac OS X Help Line, a very helpful reference book for anyone using Mac OS X Panther. He gave away autographed copies as Door Prizes. |

The Michigan Apple User Group had a field trip in December 2003 to the Apple Store at Sommerset Mall for a live demo on using .Mac.
Ron from the Apple Store showed us all the goodies that come with a .Mac membership and member Dave Birdsong created a Picture Gallery on the fly on our .Mac Homepage to show everyone how easy it is. |
